What's worse: Breaking your ankle or having your nuts forcibly shuved back into your abdomen?

I've always wondered why this happens like is it bad technique by the kicker or something?

If I may? I've seen similar accidents happen during karate tournaments I've participated in. It depends on the angle at which the two legs cross, the amount of muscle around it, the amount of force put into the technique, and the strength of the bones. Most people who practice karate and use kicks often have irregular lower bones in their legs (with dents and the like), because of those blows.

And yes, it's ******* painful. But in a nasty way. I won't cause you to fall down, it'll only make you regret whatever the reason to kick like that; Most people try to block such kicks by letting them slide off upwards, negating them, or downwards, dodging mostly, rather than stop the full force of the blow.

Because more often than not, full force meeting full force in any martial arts sport will result in broken bones, when it involves legs.
