Brain death - Spinal reflex
This Medical Video: Male 19 y. age victim of penetrating brain injury. All the criteria for the encephalic death diagnosis were present. The presence of this complex spinal reflex doesnt exclude the brain death diagnosis and must be known and understood by the professionals involved in this very important diagnosis

It's called the lazarus sign and is quite common in traumatic brain injury patients once the criteria for brain death is met. Not bragging, but I know this because I am a neurosurgeon at Virginia Tech

I've seen a similar reaction in decapitation videos, when the head is nearly cut and they hit the bone that connects the spine to the skull with a machete the same movement happens to the victim's arms.
