i get it.

the man is being hated for the things he does [his job, which can be read as the things he needs to do to survive] the things he does to benefit from [which represents him taking the tram] and the things he can't control emotions/feelings [like just walking and getting hit without a reason]
also he is being hated by everybody the "average" [boss] the "old" [hobo] and the "young" [the kids]

the girl is the things he likes to do but which are frowned upon by society
we all do things which aren't political correct
"smoking weed" "watching hentai" "liking a kids show"
the black tile is meant as transition to his second live
also look at the lamp at the 5th picture which looks kinda like a halo
the halo means that the things he does are "holy" "accepted" "normal"

the rising sun can be compared like the clock in cinderella [glass slipper] hitting 12 o'clock
it's a small reminder that the things he does aren't normal
also if you compare the 5th picture and 14th picture you see that the halo is much farther away from him which represents the spell slowly fading away from cinderella

sorry for the giant amount of wall and the grammer/spelling errors

SYMBOLISM!

I just had to read the Pit and the Pendulum and talk about a symbolic take from the story, so this is relevant.
