You know you're hardcore when you wear the corpses of your victims as armor.

The portia spider will also mimic prey in a web, then pounce on spider's like 10x their size. Scientists say they're one of the most intelligent non-human species, and they're freaking spiders.

Oh my god, that is the cutest thing ever! I just love jumping spiders. The most adorable spiders of all. I have a tarantula myself (avicularia avicularia), she's at home with my parents, and I wish I could have more, but have to focus on my studies :/

Oh, but they are very beautiful too! They shine so beautifully, and I hear they have a mild temper as pets :)

That's awesome man. My sister's into entymology; I just casually like bugs though (and arachnids, if you want to be all sciencey). I've always thought jumping spiders were pretty cool too. I don't know much about them though, or how you would even begin to breed them haha.

I kept them sperately then when they were adult i just introduced them, they mated straight away. I had a real great female who wasnt a total bitch so she didnt even eat him. He got out and survived the first mating. Breed all kinds of stuff, stick insects, mantids, beetles, roaches, tailless whip scorpions, vinegaroons, ponds bugs...
