Ehh, that's not totally true. The AC-130 doesn't just carry the Howitzer on it. Not knowing specifically, but I do know it can carry up to 4 different size weapons on board, with the 120mm Howitzer being the largest (my brother flies them out in Japan). It could possibly be an Apache though.

It is most likely an Apache or a Cobra.

The standard AC130 armament is as follows:

2x 20 mm M61 Vulcan cannon
1x 40 mm L/60 Bofors cannon
1x 105 mm M102 howitzer

Though there are several different versions.

all the anons got it right.

thats not from an AC-130 guncam. thats from an AH-64 Longbow. THe AC-130s are only used for combat support and seeing that the tangos had no idea what happened shows that no combat was going on in the area. the AH-64 however does do patrols, and that would fit what was going on in this.
also the ac-130 is only fitted with the 25mm minigun, 40 mm bofor bushmaster cannon, and a 105 mm howitzer. while the AH-64 Longbow has .50 cal turret that tends to shoot explosive rounds and by the small explosions of the rounds hitting the ground it was from the .50 cal from the 64.

AH-64s do not carry 50 cal turrets. They have 30 mm cannons.
The AC-130 (depending on the variant, I am referring to the Spooky variant) currently carries a 25 mm GAU 12 Gatling cannon, 40 mm Bofors, and a 105 mm. Bofors and Bushmaster are two separate production companies that did not cooperate on the 40 mm Bofor cannons (obviously produced by Bofors and mounted on many of the AC-130 variants) nor the 25 mm Bushmaster autocannon (produced by Bushmaster and mounted on the Bradley Fighting Vehicle and the LAV -25)

Defiantly not .50 rounds. Most likely an Apache, but the Apache has a 30MM cannon not a .50. Not to mention even .50 APIT rounds do not make an explosion that large.

The explosions look too small to be .50 rounds. They seem to bigger. It could be the 25mm on the AC-130, or the 30mm on the Apache.

yea, that does seem to be the .30 mm.

but it was definetly the AH-64. the cam is to stable to be on the AC-130, and the bullet spread was too wide as well as the amount of rounds that went down were too little for a minigun.

and i ment to put a / inbetween the bofors and bushmaster, because their are two seprate versions last time i checked.

and i hate COD with ya. im more Battlefield, Operation Flashpoint and ARMA for my video games.

The weapon interface on an AC-130 is much different than the one seen here. This is the weapon interface here is that of the AH-64. Furthermore the AC-130 is, in most cases, only called in to support ground troops against a much larger enemy force whilst moving towards a target area or retreating.
