**jonebonez rolled a random image posted in comment #84 at Aliens in south park ** When I was in Cosmo school we asked one of our instructors what the most terrifying thing he ever saw was. Apparently a couple years earlier, some old lady who always kept her hair in the beehive style came in to get it washed out. She hadn't actually washed her hair in months, everyday she would just spray it with Hard Head, which is a LAQUER hairspray, So this **** was hard. >.> Anyway, she had been complaining about some itching on her scalp. As soon as they parted her hair a bit in the sink, spiders came flocking out from her scalp. :/ The itching was them burrowing into her head and laying eggs.

I can handle stories/videos of people talking about / removing maggots and worms from their bodies but a line is crossed when spiders are involved.

Myth busted. Thank god for that.

In a surprisingly widespread urban legend, a nameless woman is bitten by a spider (usually on her cheek) while on vacation. She later develops a swelling, from which, in due course, baby spiders emerge! Somehow or other, the venom must have transformed into eggs. Spiders, need I say, do not find the human body a suitable site for egglaying, and no actual case anything like this can be found anywhere in scientific or medical literature.
