They are small, thieving and reptilian and kicking them as far into a volcano as you can is one of the national dwarven passtimes. Almost every fantasy universe, except Warcraft, depicts them as reptiles and Warcraft depicts them as rats. There is absolutely no logical reason for this rendition of kobolds to exist.
