Well the subject was anime, not Visual Novels.
Figured it was the easiest example of a clear loser in a harem situation.
Admittedly, having a hard time thinking of another candidate...
Maybe if I loosen my standard to having the harem outside the main focus? Can I count Shinji? Does bitchy Asuka, emotionless Rei, alcoholic guardian Misato and that dude from that one episode make a harem? Probly not...
