I don't think her eye has the same anatomy as a normal human's since in the comic the pupil mostly stays toward the center. She may have more of a bird's kind of eye which can rotate slightly like it does in the second panel and is flatter than a human's eye.
There's also the possibility that the 'pupil & iris' form the entire visual organ and the rest of the 'eye' is actually just a thin muscular layer which can move it around slightly. Which would allow it to be more like this.
It would mean that the visual organ is very different, biologically, from the eyes of a mammal.
*pokes the ground* i cant see in 3d. my eyes cant focus on the same object at the same time. its not like im cross eyed, but they cant focus on a single object, it's because i have one eye that is like 2x stronger than the other. i have to tell distance by sighting.
First (and last) time I went to see a 3d movie, it was blurry as **** , the glasses just made it worse (and hurt my head because they were ******* child-sized) and the whole thing looked like **** .
Good thing it was Green-lantern rather than anything worth a damn.
