Brigandines are cheaper, easier to make and repair when damaged. And it doesn't need to be perfectly tailored. It's arguably better if you want to equip an army and have limited resources.

Personally, I think it's mostly because they're interesting. Not sure if it's like this everywhere in the world, but around here, there's been this trend for the last century or so where women keep telling other women (most notably mothers telling their daughters) that all men care about is looks, which has created several generations of basic bitches with no personality whatsoever. My chances of actually succeeding aside, I'm not even interested in any of the women around me, because of how ******* boring they are. You can't even hold a conversation with these people. Do you play videogames? "No." Any hobbies? "Nope." The hell do you do all day? "Hang out with my friends." And what do you do with them? "Talk about our other friends behind their backs." Can't talk to em about their free time, cause they don't do **** . Can't talk to 'em about university, cause they hardly come here. Can't talk to 'em about work, cause they don't have jobs, just mooch cash off their bfs.

It's gotten to the point where I actually miss the bitchy cunts from highschool. At least you could hold a conversation with them. Assuming you consider insults and sass a conversation. I'll take bitchy over boring any day. At this rate, I wouldn't even mind the monster girls. You've got horns sticking out of your nipples? **** , if that ain't a conversation piece, I don't know what is.

Wow, that thing about high school cunts is spot on. I recently met a girl from high school that kind of hated me for being too different from her, but also respected me for my intellect and ideas. I swear, first actually interesting conversation in months that I really enjoyed.

Women need to develop personalities. I was thinking about this recently. I try to talk to girls nowadays and most of them don't have any opinions on anything. They just kinda agree with you on stuff, or ignore what you say. I also find their personality gets worse with how good looking they are.

You're right. And even if they do have hobbies and interests, they are on the "I just need to waste my time and this seems to be working" tier. There's no analysis or thoughts other than "I like it"/"I don't like it", so the conversations still turn our to be mediocre.

I don't know what kind of people you hang out with but don't colour all women with your social circle's paintbrush. I've known a lot of incredibly interesting people. Both the men and women can be colourful and vibrant people with goals and ambitions. Maybe you're hanging out with boring people because you're boring...

Just seek out different people. Not everyone is like that! As for not sharing your interests? It doesn't matter what their gender is, you'll meet plenty of people who don't care one bit what you care about.

I really don't think all the people who you know are like that. Are you sure you're not imposing that assumption like a stereotype upon girls?

It's an observation, not an assumption. In the past 5 years or so, I've known around 45 guys and 30 women. Out of them, 20 guys and two women were interesting. That's 45% and 6%. And it's been more or less the same ratio my whole life. I've known very interesting and fun women, they're just ******* rare, because the boring ones keep mocking them for being different.

a world filled with the standard fantasy races but almost everyone have some monster traits. however there are some that are born without monster traits. these are mistrusted or even reviled for "hiding" their monsters or having their monsters on the inside, fueled by the worst villains in history having their monsters on the inside

some DM should go with this.
