I've become less and less impressed by people's MC creations... Great, you built a big house. Sweet, nice castle. That's awesome, it's Zoidberg. Phenomenal, it's dickbutt.
There's a lot that should genuinely be impressive, like the 1:1 scale model of Starship Enterprise, or the actual working computers people have built with redstone, but I've either lost interest or just don't keep up...
Story time, fj. When the alpha was released, I started playing MC. I started up retarded, "lololol, I tug a 20 block long tunnel, I'm fucking god!" Then it escalated to something gargantuan. It wasn't just a simple building, it wasn't a large building, it... it wasn't a recreation or anything. It was a legitimate universe. For 4 months straight. From alpha to about 2 months after the beta was out, I was working on "Minnia." I have created about 4 cities (most of it empty, it was meant to be played as a roleplay server, so there were empty lots and shit, it never took off though) with my bare 16bit hands... and stone pickaxes, no scripting, nothing. Just digging.
But most impressive, I believe and have been told, wasn't what I built. It was what I wrote. I wrote out about 300 years worth of history and lore for the universe of Minnia. And it's all far more interesting than the bible, I'm sure.
I'm not looking for thumbs, I'm just throwing out there something that I'm certain people would actually appreciate if they're truly into MC.

Unfortunately, the attached pic is literally the only surviving picture of the world. It don't look pretty, but it wasn't finished either.

It's cool stuff like this that makes me sad that I only have crappy Minecraft Xbox edition because my PC is ancient and a piece if crap.
