Why the FUCK would it take you 2-3 days.
Even in minecraft days, 2-3?

He has glowstones in there, that would require a nether trip

i'm a n00b, plus it would take me weeks to find that much wood and sheep where i spawned at.

Supplies?
Just cut down like 10 trees, and the house is super tiny.

Wool? stone? coal?
User avatar #15 to #14 - mango (08/11/2012) [-]
stone and coal? go mining?
look on any walls?
Wool, maybe, but if you find enough sheep, just slaughter them.
User avatar #16 to #15 - ginginhunter (08/11/2012) [-]
yes but if you want to cut wool effectivly you need shears , which you need iron for , plus coal to smelt it and a furnace that is constructed out of stone ,
plus food , to survive
and you cant come out at night
and you need to find sheep , which my minecraft refuses to spawn on a radius of 50 out of my spawn
User avatar #19 to #16 - mango (08/11/2012) [-]
Still don't know why you consider stone and coal hard.
If you can't get at least those in your first day, then what are you doing.
User avatar #20 to #19 - ginginhunter (08/11/2012) [-]
its not about finding them , its about how much time it will take you to find the amout of coal needed
User avatar #22 to #20 - mango (08/11/2012) [-]
Well, you CAN use wood to make charcoal, and you can also just use wood to make the the ore into ingots.
and if you need shears, you need 2 pieces of iron, and you can smelt both of those with 1 measly piece of coal, or 4 logs.
User avatar #23 to #22 - ginginhunter (08/11/2012) [-]
yes but to mine iron you must have a stone pickaxe , which means you need to go mine the stone , go back home and construct it , considering the fact your not speed-playing
User avatar #24 to #23 - mango (08/11/2012) [-]
But, still, not even speed playing, plonk down a crafting table after you get your wood, make a wooden pick, mine stone which is literally 5 blocks below dirt, mine it 3 blocks, go back up, make a stone pick, go into a cave, find your 2 pieces of iron, 1 piece of coal and 8 pieces of stone, plonk down your crafting bench, get some wood, make a house, put down your smelter, smelt the iron, make shears, find sheep, done. If you actually try and look fer a cave, that can be done towards the beginning of night.

How should he go out in the night with no armor or effective weapons? he will be raped with creepers , plus you need to find shelter first , if you build it on the first day it will consume half of the day , making of the shears will take the next half , food finding does consume some time because you dont have an effective weapon, night is out of the equation because you have no protection .

the next day is finding wool , red flowers , materials, making a bed , and you have about 3 minutes left over
thats how my minecraft experience is like on the first day if i want to build a house like this
User avatar #27 to #25 - mango (08/11/2012) [-]
If making a shelter takes half a day, then you're trying too hard. First shelter should be nice and simple, maybe a 10x10 square house with some chests n' shit.
User avatar #26 to #25 - Sicsin (08/11/2012) [-]
What neither of you have considered is the glowstone inside of the house.
