Lighthouse

Make it larger at the base and smaller at the top like a real light house, Light houses are one of my favorite things to build in MC for some reason. That other guy is right about making the lamp smaller. Do that so you can have a little balcony around your lamp too. But it really looks great............ Pic related.... its the larger at the bottom and smaller at the top thing i mean. Good work man

The lamp looks a little too big.



Otherwise I like the overall shape and pattern used.

There was a video on youtube to make a woking lighthouse with the light that spins in a sort of way if you were wanting to make it different. Takes a lot of pistons and some glowstone if you are willing to brave the nether. Link to it below he lists materials.
