Lets build a nice house

- Sleep in a hole for the first few nights
- Mine, get some decent shit together
- Build somewhere nice/start working on other projects

That's how I usually do it. Although I haven't played in a while because I play Tekkit and all the seeds I get/use are shit, so I don't play a world long enough to get very far.

Tekkit is fun, but I've reached the point where I generate 4 stacks of red matter a night... kinda gets boring then, just like normal Minecraft.
I think the most fun of Minecraft is the start when you've barely got anything.
Once you get Iron you're pretty much invincible.

In all worlds I get lazy and the hole I spend my first night in becomes my place of living, But I always expand underground or around it to make it sexier.

Yeah I do that to when I have a hole to live in.
Even made a tekkit home underground with pipes going through all the walls (looks much nicer than when its all in the sky that's for sure.)
But I always see people make these nice brick/wood houses and I just have a square cube.

Yeah, but if you count the amount of squares the house is, and the squares of the hole, the hole is too narrow.

Iam currently building a replica on a server if you friend me Ill draw up some blueprints when I can for you and you can use them. If I had ferry's permission first. I would not like to infringe.

can you freely break and place blocks or are there permission errors all the time?

There is permission in some places like spawns and such but you can break bloacks outside of spawn. Griefing is prohibited though.

What texture pack you using mate? I personally use Jolicraft (inb4 I'm judged) I enjoy it's simplicity, but also, the default is okay, and there aren't many good, dedicated texture packs.

I'm using Sphax' pure BDcraft I like the look of the wood
