unless you live in a state thats overtime laws is over 40 not 40 or 8 or your in the military then your boss is breaking the law

here, the only overtime is when we work more than 40 hours per week, and we get 8+ hour shifts pretty often, though more than 10 hours in one shift is pretty rare
