I was in the AF for six years and all i can say is the pilots hated it after a week.

i was actually gunna mention that but if i listed everything wrong with the raptor i'd fall asleep. still a sexy bird though

Yeah it pretty much is considered the best combat fighter ever built. I also recall an Israeli F-15 loosing a wing and yet it was still able to land.

I do believe it's great due to the specific role it was built for. Unlike the F-22, and F-35 that were built for Multi Role. The F-15 was a true Fighter air frame that was later adapted for Multi Role.

And it still ****** **** up as a multirole, the E is an amazing aircraft. I'm looking to take an officer's commission after I finish my degree, and hopefully I'll do well enough to fly 15's
