I agree, but i would love for a sport to be invented that uses tanks.
Like archery, wich uses bows wich were intended for killing things. also yes there will be accidents, but that's a fact for all sports
That way we still have tanks, but a better use.
Aside from that they provide me with years of history and researching fun.
coming back on my statement:
- implying you have full protection when hatches are closed
- some vehicles might not be so fun. Being cramped in an early T-34 must be a masochist's dream.
There are some places where you can drive around yourself.
Like in the netherlands there's a place where they let you drive a Leopard 1. but for 299€ per person for 30mins and 15mins tutorial, lolnope
they really didnt....they were called upon to do what they were told was right. they went above and beyond for their beliefs i think every soldier deserves respect, from the nazis to the japanese. they gave their lives and deserve peace
Also it's defenitly not a panzer III/IV since that didn't develop further than a blueprint. Just because it's in world of tanks doesnt mean it existed.
I once played in one of those old tanks. It didn't have any "guts", it was just an empty shell of once a tank and it was on a kid's playground in one village so little kids can play in it. I must say, even though I wasn't a little kid it was still pretty dank sitting on the canon and stuff.
These photos are really starting to depress me. I mean, there were men fighting for their country, for what they believed in, inside of these metal boxes of death. They were killed, hopefully instantly, by another soldier from another side, doing the same. These men got no funerals, they most likely weren't even names on a wall somewhere. Forgotten in time, their own proof they lived is a slowly rusting box, mocking them, about how they weren't quite good enough.
