They are being repurposed as homes; fish and crustacean homes.

I wouldn't call," rusty as **** and falling apart", frozen in time. Still cool **** .
User avatar #23 to #1 - thepizzadevourer (5 hours ago) [-]
Well, "rusty as **** and falling apart" doesn't exactly make a good title though

for some reason i really like planes that have crashed long ago like these ones that are underwater and ones that crash in jungles.

From an American to a German:
I'm really sorry that when you sunk the Lusitania because you though it was smuggling weapons, and then we convinced you it was only carrying civilians (It was carrying a bunch of them though), so we got you to pay large amounts of damages, even though we totally were carrying ammo. but hey we put down the money to help rebuild Germany twice, so we got that going for us.

Source is Chuuk Lagoon / Truk lagoon, a sheltered lagoon in the pacific.
It contains a large amount of sunken Japanese supply ships and subs from WW2.

You can dive there and explore the wrecks if you want through services such as asiadivers.

This site contains several dive logs with pictures showcasing the wrecks:

When it's all rotting at the bottom of the ocean covered in sand and barnacles, I don't think that counts as "frozen in time"

buildings and more being reclaimed by the ocean is cool as heck, cause they become an ecosystem
