Listen, as much as anyone says "oh this really is that good" and "it DOES have meaning" it really doesn't matter to me because i've heard enough "you a stupid hoe" and "i got ten bafrooms i could shit all day" to even give rap a chance... i literally listen to EVERYTHING except it....

I agreed with you up to the lupe part. You have probably only heard his mainstream music he actually is better than the rest. But other than that I agree completely. Rap to me died in 2004 when my friend said wayne is the best rapper and will be the best in a few years. smh

Didn't think you'd actually listen to it. It's about how modern "rap" is only about drugs and money. A lot of his hands moves are easily misunderstood if you don't understand the language, i.ex. when saying "swag" and touching his clothes, he's making fun of it, and when he pretends to smoke a blunt, he is actually saying that he would throw everything, including his relatively small career away, if his friends would become addicts because of it.

There are so many genre's of metal, it's a little overwhelming.

The metal heads you're talking about go after the more "popular ones", like Just Heavy Metal or Thrash.

I love metal but when it comes to rap, i only listen to comedic rap but thats not much, i hate the straight forward rap like lil wayne, they are talentless.

I don't either, unless I'm doing something related to metal. I wear regular t-shirts, shorts, light colored hair, etc. But when I play somewhere, damn. I dye my hair black, all black everything, trenchcoat, etc. I think I might have multiple personalities :c

A) I completely agree, even for their time ACDC wasn't considered heavy metal, at most they were hard rock and even that would be pushing it. If that same person would listen to something along the lines of Amon Amarth or Cradle of Filth they would piss themselves.

A lot of people tend to classify ACDC as heavy metal when the band members just consider themselves "simply rock n roll."

When compared to other bands, I do not really see them as heavy metal. More hard rock than heavy metal. They seem to have a more radio-friendly sound than a lot of bands.

I have and probably always will consider them as a rock band. They don't seem liek regular metal to me, yet alone heavy.
