I don't see what's wrong with having long hair like that. It's probably more because he seems to be the stereotypical "Swag fag guy" due to the clothes, pose and the cap. The filter too, probably. Or atleast the picture seems to have been fiddled a bit with with some program.

It wasn't just the hair, it was the whole "guys with long hair" thing and they chose someone who looked like that. A guy who spent too much time on his hair and still can't see straight.

Ah, I see where you're coming from. At least from my point of view that wasn't it, for I've seen many guys with long hair who barely or don't listen to metal at all.
