Women never swoon at the accordion. Yes, I play the accordion, and while it is good for some laughs, or a sea shanty, when my flatmate brings out his guitar, he doesn't actually need to play it before people start talking to him about it. And there's me, alone, in the corner, with the most gimmicky instrument of all time.

I am a guitar player and I have the utmost respect for accordian players. It is a beautiful instrument that requires a ton of skill to play. Totally more unique than the guitar!

it's even worse as a Shred guitarist, when i'll play some superfast, complicated song that took me a month to get down, and i get told i suck, then have girls flock to some guy who obviously barely knows what he's doing.
