I'm not gonna impart opinions on bands or anything, but I have to say, at least metal and other genres in that area require talent to actually play those intruments, and it takes ages to perfect your playing and coordination when you're out there on stage. Rap artists just talk down the mic and get other people to come up with the rest of the song for them (don't get me wrong, some rappers do have some talent).

Because if it's not produced electronically, it's not music!
