Depends what you take as metal if you mean that guitar grunging and throwing up on the mic then the charts are right, but Maiden, Judas, Motorhead, or even good swedish metal bands like Sabaton are all concidered metal :)

depens. Purple aint metal. I think we all can agree on that much. Priest is metal, maiden i hard rock. they have never been metal, when people ask them if they play metal they will refuse and say the play hard rock, so I think it's hard rock :P i am a huge maiden fan so i know a little :P

I like many new ones, but Iron maiden, Whitesnake, Killswitch engage and Kvelertak are favorites :P if Sabaton and hammerfall I will recomend Edguy, a good german band
