Is it sad that most metal heads deeply enjoy breakdowns and don't even notice it? Pantera had breakdowns. Machine Head had breakdowns as well. Also there are some seriously technical bands out there that use breakdowns. Here's a list of some of my favorites: Abiotic, Infant Annihilator, Viremia, Rings Of Saturn, After The Burial, Veil Of Maya, Lorlei, Decades Of Deception, The Holy Guile. etc. That's just naming a few there are many Technical Deathcore bands out there who are ******* amazing but of course the elitist's won't give them a chance because they have their heads stuffed up their own asses. Don't get me wrong I ******* love old school Metal like Carcass, Cryptopsy (lord wurm), Abbadon, Heathen, Witchburner, and Nuclear Assault. However, try giving the new stuff a chance you might find some good stuff out there. Also, If you heard Bring Me The Horizon and Asking Alexandria and then have the balls to say that all Deathcore is like that, boy are you an ignorant twat muffin. Try it before you bag it.

Metalcore always has a solo in there songs and I mean always. I have yet to hear a decent metalcore ban not have a solo, and Deathcore is meant to just have that punchy; slam down type of sound so it's not surprising.
