Out of the three of the Big Four I've seen, Metallica had the best live performance, followed by Slayer. Megadeth, quite frankly, is kinda boring live.

Yea, I like Megadeth's music, but I absolutely hate Mustaine as a person. He's a good musician and songwriter (my favorite Metallica album, Ride The Lightning, was basically written by him), but he's a monstrous douchebag.

Metallica is my overall favorite of the Big Four, though, with Megadeth coming in second and Slayer in third.

I saw Megadeth during their Rust in Peace 20th anniversary tour. After the show Dave Mustaine called me to his table. He wanted a fedora my girlfriend had made with a Megadeth patch on it. He traded me the two wrist bands he wore at the show for it. Had a good 20 minute conversation with him. Really cool guy.
