User avatar #154 to #18 - mistafishy (07/25/2013) [-]
I'm pissed I never became a boy scout, I was such a shut in as a youngster...

And now they're all cool and ***** and I didn't know it, but apperently the boy scouts didn't have to fight bears to get patches n' badges.

What city?

Yes we should
#186 to #185 - rakaka (07/25/2013) [-]
The city the troop has meetings in? San Antonio but it could be in leon ******* valley for all I know. I was too lazy to remember all the weird """""""districtcs"""""""" all over SA. By districts I mean like the weird area names like Leon Springs, Hill country, or Castle Hills.

I'll bring the sleeping bag

I remember the name and i'm sure I was there.

Big rock wall?
#190 to #189 - rakaka (07/25/2013) [-]
It was a bigass camp site but maybe you remember a sort of "medieval day" where you would split wood slabs and got to take them home. and you got to throw axes and get things branded. there was also a hayride but **** that noise that **** aint ****** medieval.

The state of the Boy Scouts of America is **** now. Nothing compared to 10-20 years ago. They went ahead and made everything so easy that any buffoon could get Eagle. It's almost as bad as American TaeKwonDo which has just turned into a monopoly to get as much money as possible out of the students...

2012 Eagle Scout of Troop 4 Yonkers , NY. Present and accounted for SIR

i didn't get to spend very long in the beaver cub scouts (my dad was supposed to take me, but he was lazy as **** ) and instead i decided to learn up on survival techniques that are relatively good. i have a book on various useful knots, i know an obsessive-compulsive amount about hygiene and i'm currently looking for a book on edible plants.
with a bowl, a cooking pot, a clean tin pail and a knife, i could survive in the wild if need be

kewl story. I've never even made an effort to go. After Philmont last summer, i ran out of BSA regulation ***** . Other than Camp, the only scouting I do is slowly working towards Eagle.

kidding, dude. Even if you magically had a full tank of gas and half a carton of cigarettes, it'd still be too far to Chicago.
