what are my third part options?

You could vote for an independent candidate, but there's no way in hell an independent is getting voted above Obama or Romney, unfortunately. Personally, I say go for the lesser of two evils. I hate to say it, but going independent is sort of a wasted vote.

My father said exactly the same thing when I said this earlier.
TBH, my one vote, as far as I see it, isn't going to do much. What matters to me, when it comes to voting, is what what side I was on.

So basically, when the country goes to shit, at least I can say to myself, "I didn't vote for this."

Yeah, that's true. I heard some people talking about Gary Johnson saying they liked him, if you are okay with Liberetarians.

I'm not sure I know what a libertarian is.

I don't like the idea of voting on something I know nothing about.

Liberetarians tend to swing on both sides of the political spectrum, being more liberal with civil rights, and more conservative as far as economic issues run.

I guess that sounds good.....

If I had to put a marker on it, I'd say I'm somewhat Conservative, but not on everything by a longshot.

I like Conservative polices regarding some things, but I don't think the government should have as much of a handle on people's private lives.
