>started getting kinky with the psychologist in ME2
>dropped her hard when i knew i can get kinky with Tali instead
>mfw i realized she's the only crew member who i didn't save after i finished the trilogy
Did you do her loyalty mission? Did you assign her to the proper job? Did you assign everyone to the proper job? Did you fix your ship? 100% of the time that I did all of these things, there were no deaths.
I dunno, it's pretty hard to not have a full loyal party by the end. I mean, the only thing you have to know is the cut-off point of the Reaper IFF mission, and you can just do literally everything else besides Legion before that.
Picking the wrong leader, I can understand though.
It's not too hard, you just have to do enough side missions to get your renegade/paragon high enough to persuade/intimidate them out of the confrontation without picking a side.
Then again I'm a completionist whore and wouldn't let myself so much as approach the finale without doing everything I possibly could beforehand.
It's not that difficult, keep your paragon or renegade high so you can pass those speech checks for Jack and Miranda, and Tali and Legion, basically doing those missions last to be sure.
Then pick the correct leaders and specialists, buy your upgrades and you're good.
i am still for my nobody gets left behind achievement...aaaaand then it didnt mean anything in me 3.......i am still sooo mad....well...better play f4llout now
The Mass Effect games were dumbed down a lot aswell. At a lot of cases in ME3 you only had the 2 crazy 'ultimate good gui', or 'fukboi' choices. And also at some points you couldn't even choose what to say. Ok, those were just minor stuff, but still. I loved all 3 ME's, but they aren't the top of the RPG class either.
Mass Effect 3 streamlined the conversations a little bit, but for the good. In Mass Effect 1, and less often in 2 (but it still happened), there were a lot of dialogue options that caused Shepard to say the exact same thing regardless of what you picked. Mass Effect 3 just saved you the trouble of choosing a pointless choice between identical answers.
Yes, it's true that in previous ME games it was a problem, but they could've expanded it instead of dumbing it down. Tho doing it with the last title of the trilogy wouldn't really work. I still love ME, but sometimes it doesn't really felt like role playing, where it should've.
I loved Mass Effect so much that it probably kept me from suicide through some hard times. Thinking about that world has let me finally sleep so many times... but the ending in ME3...
I didn't even get mad. I was disappointed. It wasn't a "oh come on" disappointment, but like, I lost nearly all interest in the ME universe JUST after watching the end credits. i am getting hyped again for a new story with new characters though.
Why? One is a superior human being, who feels alienated by society, and express it in a carelessness for people in general and being very arrogant. The other is... wait...
No doubt in my mind either about that, but besides Shepard himself, who could really take the role as Morrigan? I actually think those two characters remind me of each other the most of all the characters.
In terms of listing traits and comparing them, yes. I terms of personal opinion, I think Morrigan is incomparable. I applaud BioWare for making such a unique character, really. As a girl I'm naturally negative towards female characters that are good looking, talented, and sort of bitchy/cold, which is the case of Miranda, but with Morrigan it's different. I admire the hell out of her, and find her really badass. But Miranda is to me just a GMO eye candy. I can't quite point out the traits that make me think so, but they're definitely there. And I have a lot of gamer friends who think the same. But then again, it's just a personal feeling.
Someone had to be her, and she's by far the best choice technically IMO. I would rather have seen a power-girl like Jack take her place in the pic, but that my opinion.
I feel like they ****** the pooch with Miranda. She has such an interesting backstory, and you can't help but feel sympathetic, when you finally hear her story, but then right after an emotional scene, they zoom in on her butt or something lame like that, and you forget that she's a human with feelings at all.
It's a common theme for practically everyone to have smoking hot bodies in ME, but I felt like Miranda was actually the only character to be overly sexualized, even if her sexiness is a part of her story.
By the way, the more I think about it, the more does Jack actually remind me of Morrigan. I think she would actually have been the best character swap for her.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Jack is like a less sophisticated Morrigan. Again, Jack has a hot body and a pretty face, but she just gives out such a badass allure that I can't possibly dislike her.
Chill down there, Miss Beauty Pageant, you don't have to hate female characters just because they are above a 3/10. LMAO.
You pulled the words right out of my mouth with that Morrigan/Jack comparison. Morrigan is by far my favorite Dragon Age female character, but ME really have some awesome characters, like Tali and Jack.
