Wing Chun vs Streetfighter

Last time I had a Wing Chun man kick ass, but I have found a video where a Wing Chun man gets his ass kicked! But it took alot of searching and the guy in this isn't very good, which doesn't really help my 'no one style is better than another' statement. Next video won't have a Wing Chun man in it!

Feel free to add me, and remember.

Remember before commenting!

No style is inherently better than another.
The Wing Chun isn't a bad fighter because he lost to the Streetfighter, the Streetfighter was just better.

My criticisms of the fight.

Wing Chun man fighting in a street fight. Wing Chun is great in a street fight, if you know how to use it in a street fight. This guy seems to now know how to use it in a street fight lol
Wing Chun man back pedaling. Wing Chun is meant for close range!
Streetfighter letting the Wing Chun man close. That would've probably lost him the match if he didn't outclass the Wing Chun man so much.
Wing Chun man defend yourself! Seems like every punch the streetfighter throws was never even noticed by the Wing Chun man!

All in all. The streetfighter was good, and to be honest. I don't think that Wing Chun man has been training for very long, or very hard.

Martial art techniques are pretty much useless in streetfights.
However, the general fighting experience isn't.

Partly correct. They're useless in a street fight if you don't adapt them to a street fight. If you don't think in a linear pattern as you would do while training, you'll do well. Only exception I know of this is Jeet Kune Do, as it was designed to avoid such things.

Wait. I read that just as Martial Arts, not Martial Arts techniques. No. Almost every martial arts technique on its own is valuable in a street fight. Some you do have to adapt but generally you won't.
