Top is a role in League of Legends which a lot of people prefer over the other roles, thus he says "top or afk".

I love mid as long as the other lanes aren't retarded. Mid and jungle(and to a lesser extent support) are roles that require the other players to be decent otherwise they end up feeding or being useless.
