Diana and Leona are shipped cus they're two opposites that are also incredibly similar. both hold views that had them cast as outsiders and ostracized by their pears. they also both stood up for what they believed even when it lead them to certian death. but because of their faith and tenacity they were rewed and proven to be right in the respective faiths.

Bitching Bad Guy. Jack Noir is Best Angel of Death. Pic related, he just stabbed like a billion robots and then blew up a planet, all while staring a whiny bitch down. Only one hand tho.
Really swell World-Building. My number 1 fave thing about HS. You can take personality tests to find out your super powers and stuff (Mage of Breath, for me. Means I can scream at things till either 1)They Explode 2)My Lungs Explode.
Multi-media. You can be reading a Chatlog one page, and the next page you have to play a game to advance. Also kinda meta, like Undertale levels of Meta.
Cons
Tumblr likes it. Like a lot. Means you do get some good fanart tho, but its a tiny silver lining in a Category 5 Hurricane cloud.
Too much attention on Shipping, not enough on fighting or world-building.

I agree with you on the fact that Diana and Leona didn't know each other before Diana joined the league, mainly cause it would go against Leona's character for her to just sit there and watch someone be excited like that. However I do also think that Diana doesn't hate Leona, I figure she just hates her beliefs and since Leona is their champion she places herself to be her rival. But I do like the idea of them eventually falling in love with each other since I like that sort of relationship.
