Gank: Surprise and invade another lane where other champs are fighting to help kill the enemy laners, it's basically the junglers job as nobody ever knows where they are.
Ult: an ability champions get at level 6, and can be levelled up only at 11, and 16 consecutively as opposed to every level like other abilities.

now explain lane(ers) and jungler?

Okay, I got nothing better to do.

Laners: Champions who go into one of the 3 lanes as seen in the image, usually 1 champ top, 1 champ mid, 2 champs bot, leaving the extra champ to go and level up in the jungle uninterrupted. Laners must compete with the enemy laner and get all the farm (killing minions) that they can while trying to kill the enemy laners.

Junglers: Can be very helpful or very useless; they're the gankers. See, if everyone's in their lane focusing on farming and killing the lane opponents no one sees what the jungler is up to, hence why they must gank to get kills and help the team. When they gank, they'll leave the jungle path and enter the river, where they can charge into a lane and outnumber the people on the lane and win the fight. Also, they must farm independantly, by killing the jungle creeps to farm whenever they're not ganking. My personal favourite role too. Anything else you want to know?

three lanes, top middle bottom, creeps from both teams march down these lanes as they connect each base to the other.

Jungler is the champion that kills jungle monsters to gain exp and gold, instead of sitting in a lane and killing creeps
