I don't recommend going straight to ranked as soon as you're level 30, make sure you're actually good at the game.
I know a couple of people that did ranked as soon as they were 30.
Guess what ? Bronze V, Bronze IV and Bronze V. Yeah.

I started playing ranked as soon as I hit 30.
Got a lot more ranked games than normals.

I got to level 30 with only playing soraka, then I started playing nami and I got insta bronze II.

I'm still in bronze II 3 months later though.

Good that you started to play Nami, Soraka is one of the worst supports, in my opinion, probably with Taric and Nunu.

I've been playing MOBA's since DOTA.

And Cheepmo just makes it easier.

If you are in a league for 2000 games, you belong there.
I'd say even 200 is enough. If you don't advance after hundrets of games, you are in the league where you belong, end of story. There's a reason pros never end up in "Bronze III Elo Hell" because of bad teammates.

Dude, I strongly recommend not to main teemo. I know he's cool and **** , but he is not the kind of champ you'll use to carry games. And in solo queue you will need that. Check the tier lists and win rates of all champs and pick one of those that suits you best.

How did you manage to play only mid? I barely get adc, unless I'm first pick or troll, which i never do.

not mine just played with him i guess it's a combination of higher mmr than your teammates and luck/friendly team

He still has a meh'ish average, considering he is playing with only 1 champ. Mine percentage with thresh( I main support) is about 75%-25% and i rarely get to play him. But gz for gold anyways

I wanted to say, 60%-40% is not that impressive, considering he played only one char(Implying he should be veery good at it). I was expecting a much higher rate i guess.

True, I'm Gold IV with 60%-40% mid and 55-45% support and 50%-50% other lanes. This week on a bad spree though, hope it doesn't continue.

Personally, I would love to play just as one champion to climb up, if I were actually bothered to do ranked, and if I weren't as impulsive.
I just decide the champion I'll play whenever I am picking, unless I'm given choices.

Just don't forget some of the rules of ranked in LoL.
Don't be a ****** , don't play the blame game, don't insult your allies.
Do ward, and be friendly. Just a couple, but quite important; You insulting your teammates will usually make them do worse, as they are most probably just ********* teenagers, so their reactions can be quite bad.

To be fair, if you have been there for 5 months, you probably belong.

Blaming no mia's is a poor excuse by bad players.

If you complain about mias you belong there. Stop looking at the chat, it won't help you win. Start looking at the ******* map. If you have time to look at chat anyway, you have time to look at the map.

Besides, mias are pointless unless you plan on sitting at your tower all day because someone recalled.

So uh, heres something, if you're in solo queue, buy wards for your self and pay more attention to the map. If you see there mid and bot lane are missing you BACK THE **** UP NIGGUH. MIA's are a GODSENT in solo queue, if you're playing with someone who pings mia, you got lucky and are playing with someone who isnt a complete moron.

i was watching a stream yesterday and the guy said support is an easy role to carry yourself out of low elo IF you have enough mechanical skills.
I.E. poking, warding, map control, leading objectives....

If you play support how it should be played then you shouldn't have problems.
Support mains have the second highest winrate of mains after adc mains.
Play a champ that just feeds kills to your adc (Ali, Leona, Thresh/crank)
Make the lane safe as **** (Sona, Janna, Nami, or Taric)

Fun fact: Leona, Janna, and Sona are consistently the highest winrate champions in the game.
Fun Fact 2: Jarvan, Lee Sin, Rammus, and Amumu also have very high and consistent winrates

i play leona a **** ton i would play sona if i was any good with her and i have no idea i get stuck with some pretty terrible people

In three weeks my friend worked his way up from bronze 3 to gold 5. You can do it.

You get many points at the beginning, ths should make it pretty easy to get up. **** teamplay and **** your mates on Bronze 5-bronze 2, they suck harder then beginners and are toxic most of the time. You need to play mid/adc and carry the game solohandadly. Than in gold, you can actually start teamplaying cause people will listen instead of calling you a ******** and leaving.

it's a piece of piss, play a tough support and make sure to get the adc fed.

I started off at bronze 4, made my way up to silver 5 in around a month so it should be possible if you put your mind into it. (after that my internet became **** and I can't play LoL anymore, especially ranked so I'm stuck in silver 5 no skin for me)

Seriously, I was bronze 3 when my 3 vs 3 team was gold 5.
I'm silver 5 now and the 3 vs 3 team got hit by elo decay a few months ago

I carried myself out of bronze playing garen, he's so op and the lower elo people just cant handle him full tank. I'm currently 11-0 with him and I recommend trying him

Hahah, you don't have to recommend anything bro, Garen was my main champ for the first year, I own him and two of my favorite skins.

The problem is that I do better when I have people WITH me, so playing alone is kind of a no-go when it comes to garen, I've been playing Hecarim non-stop in ranked and have yet to lose, I'm currently 1 match in my promotion to bronze 3.

But the supports job IS to ward, I main support and jungler and warding is like the most useful thing you can do in either of those roles.

Sorakarotect and silence
Sejuani(Mah favorite):Slow,nuke,stun,knock,poke the **** out of the enemy
Taric:Be outragous
Blitz:QQ
Thresh:Lots of ****
Janna:Buy 5 activate items and carry the **** out of your team.
and the list goes on but the most important thing for the support is to ward yeah

I like the fact you are one of the few people that accepts Sej as legit support.

My favourite is thresh followed by lulu for support.

I dont think many people play Sej. i have some struggles hitting with her ulti after rework...

Sej is good support, versus Sona she is godlike you will just poke her down and adc can do the rest, unless she has hp or ap items/runes.

Everyone should be warding. Just buy a green or two everytime you're at base.

The supports job is to hold the carrys hand through early game so the carry can do his job. Warding is primarily supports job but top lane should bring their own wards same deal for mid lane.

Yeah, I mess with the lanes all the time. People who think that there's a set way to play lanes are the worst players by far.

Tbh, it's better to focus on at least one champ for every role.

About your champs, I would go for Zed instead of Talon.

Vayne is one of the hardest ADCs to play, would suggest you Cait or Ez instead.

Tryn top is good, because people don't know how to play against him, but there are better picks.

But play what you enjoy the most, dude.

I main Talon, and Vayne's been pretty easy for me, Trynds 35% crit at lvl 1 is amazing for early trade offs I tried Zed only thing I like about him more than Talon is the No mana part.

Yea. Rewards are as follows:
-Bronze: an emblem (varies by division)
-Silver: an emblem, and a permanent Victorious Ward skin
-Gold or higher: an emblem, permanent Victorious Ward skin, and a Victorious Elise skin
