I wanna complain a bit about azir, anyone else pissed off at how cool he could have been if they didn't add so many ******** limitations?
You can barely get 3 soldiers at once, they can't move, their range is too short, damage too low, too complicated to be viable, ult range is ******** , and overall his ratios and damage are **** . It's like they saw no one was using those AS+AP items and made a champion specifically for that, but the concept of an attack speed mage is still retarded.
Wow now, let's stop and think about this for a second. Teemo. AS+AP. His suggested items are nashor's tooth and what not. But I do understand that he's pretty much the only one. Inb4 satan.
I've tried him a bit and I have to agree with some of what you said, though I think it just requires more training / a little buff like back with Gnar - not every champ released is op after all
That "can't move" part is kinda wrong too, it's all about positioning and your Q - your spell where they can move - has a fairly low cooldown, going down to 2 seconds in the end... or maybe 2.6, not sure at the moment
I agree with the range part, but that's all just something I have to grow comfortable with - I think it just feels too short at the moment, but it's probably fine, we will see in the next patch
I think it's nice that Riot tries to make more complicated characters
That's what I love about dota2 - or dota in general - Meepo, Visage, Phoenix... all these lovely champs that require a bit more - and I want that in LoL too
For a good ult you have to get up close and personal - it would be op if you could just cast it 'good' from afar - and you can dash in, hit someone, stun him for a short duration and ult and usually if you've done it right you can get away as well
His ratios aren't as bad as the new Cassio's and his soldiers dish out a ******* of damage in endgame
I've yet to see him with around 800 ap though, but at 400 with Liandry's it was still quite nice, I could burst down Kha / Gangplank pretty fast
Something like Nashors Tooth should be viable on him but I would not recommend getting it on him, so that point is kinda wrong too
The concept is quite interesting, it's been done before and worked
So here you have it - Im just saying give it a bit more time before marking him as useless or something like that
I never said he's useless, I said he could have been so cool if they didn't add so many limitations.
A hero should feel smooth and fluid when you play him (in lack of other words), and you shouldn't have to "get used" to all the ******** riot does to balance a character.
A champion balanced by riot feels gimped instead of feeling balanced.
Compare azir to phantom lancer from dota. One is a ****** mage that doesn't fit into any role and you feel bad for playing him, one is a very fun and viable carry.
Right now azir is just a ****** yorick, who is already **** .
It's about riot's mentality, and this morello faggot's balance process.
Look at every character with a fun and interesting mechanic, each one has something like "to a maximum of x damage", "can only place x at once", "does not work on champions", "does not work on minions", "disappears after moving out of range", "stops working after you move out of range", "mana cost quintuples after each shot", "each attack after the first one deals 0 damage", etc.
That is not balancing, it's ******* up something that could be cool
He's not affected by silence, Garen's only viability, and spinning out of Garen's spin is really easy.
I don't know about you, but when I rarely see a Garen in diamond I pwn him all stages of the game
