1st person used a teleport so it seemed se jumped over wall, go into bush instead where player cant be seen.
the teleport has a long time to recharge so using it for no reason is dumb.
second player doesnt fall for trick and uses his teleport on the same location as 1st player just to mock him
Except there is a summoner spell called teleport as well. You could say "they used an ability called flash..." And then continue with your explanation.
If they're not a gamer, or at least not a very "diverse" one, then I am in the wrong here.
But I still stand by the fact that there are MANY games besides LoL that use the terms "blink" and "flash" in that context.
Yeah but he used the world teleport because people who don't play league won't know what flash does. So he called it teleport, because flash is just an immediate short range teleport.
Diana (female) tried to trick zed (male) by pretending to flash over a wall thinking he would follow. But zed either knew what she did or had vision of the bush and to mock her flash in. The little symbol you see over his head is him showing his rank to mock her.
Diana 'flashes' over the wall, but Zed guesses correctly and does the same flashing into the bush next to her, effectively calling her bluff.
He then uses his Zed mastery logo (The thing you see over his head) just as a bit of banter.
the low health character used a spell that let you jump short distances, and instead of tresspassing the wall, she flashed to the bushes, were she cannot be seen.
The other player owned her and flashed unecessarily to the bush just to mock her (as she is basically dead)
the green represents the targets options and the red shows the hunters options. the purple represents a zone where you can not be seen by anyone outside the zone.
any one with common sense would have teleported over the wall, but the target knew the hunter would just chase them over the wall with HIS teleport, so they did something unexpected and teleported into the bush. The hunter didnt fall for it. the hunter could have just walked into the bush and landed one hit to kill them. Instead, the hunter teleported into the bush and flashed a mastery emote, taunting in a way saying he knows every trick in the book.
Diana (Low health) - tries to duke/ruse/slip Zed (Full Health) by appearing to flash over the wall, but actually into the bush, Zed realizes this, feigns flashing over the wall to get into the same bush and then taunts her by displaying he has achieved max rank with Zed.
Imo the state of the game is kinda wonky. You have rengars all over the place because new adc items aren't only fantastic on adcs. You have Dr mundo tanking towers for 45+ seconds at a time, he builds all tank and can deal more damage than your fed adc. Like i said this is just my opinion but to me the state of the game is kinda busted right now
**kwanzalord used "*roll picture*"** **kwanzalord rolled image**it's so obvious though that he did it...
He just waited there around the pit, making sure you see him flash.
The only thing I love more than find the blitz in this video is the fact that the kennen was so oblivious to blitz being in the bush that he actually continues to go check baron pit
Doesn't matter, game is instantly a bg because someone picked Zed cancer that remains god tier for years despite so many nerfs due to his instrinsically cancerous kit enabling juke abilities that are literally an entire dimension about even the second and third best jukers (free win and eve), to the point where it literally does not have counterplay.
Problem with this logic is, not everyone goes for super OP characters. Ever heard of Grim Patron warrior or Miracle Rogue? Basically no counterplay at all to either, so many counters against anything that was played, people who didn't play it and was paired up against it just sat and waited to die, unless they met a complete retard who didn't know how to play the deck.
What I'm trying to say is, OP kills the fun for everyone if it's too easy to play, however the first anon is still stupid since Zed is hard to use properly.
So Ive just started playing league and was wondering about advice on champions. I have been using annie (mainly because my friend said she was a good cheap starting champ) and have tried Lux because of the rotation.
I like annie so far but I was also thinking about Hermindinger and Braum.
What do you guys recomend? Im still learning the basics
For juggernauts, try garen, annie is a great starter mid, in the jungle I'd recommend ww or jarvan, as for the adc, caitlyn for sure, and as a support I wouldn't recommend braum because his mechanics aren't that simple (they aren't too complicated either, but I think something simpler would be better for the start, taric would probably be the best).
Lux is also pretty cool, you'll learn to skillshot whether you like it or not. Anyway, I just listed some of the most simple champions that still make you learn some important mechanics of the game (except for Garen, he's just a dick).
Cool, if you're more of a go in rape your ship, then alistar and leona do the job best, they are simple and effective. Janna(she takes some learning to play effectively tho, for the starters, just cast your e and you're good), lulu, soraka and sona are great passive ones, with some aggro potential as well, but mostly passive, but taric is kind of a jack of all trades, he's simple, easy, strong, and gay as **** .
Anyway, if you need anything, ask me, I haven't played for some time now but been in ranked since season 1, was plat in season 4.
Annie is a really good midlaner imo (really powerful, easy to learn), and she works really well as a support.
Bard is extremely fun to play, tho he's pretty hard to play without communication between you and your team. (also AD Bard is hilarious)
Braum and Leona are really good, pretty much my main tank supports (Braum is a little harder i would say, while Leona is really easy to learn).
Blitz takes some practice (for his hook), but he's pretty good.
I would recommend you to try out every role (use freeweek rotations to find champions you like) to find your favorite (main i guess?), and at some point get 2-3 champions you can play at each role.
Anyway, good luck man. If you need any help, you can ask me, i have a bit of experience (tho not too much, i started only like, 2 years ago)
Realistically, almost all of the champions are fine to use unless you're super high ranked. Generally just look at all the options and pick the one you like or the one that seems most fun to play. You'll do better that way than by gettijng the ones people say are good. That said there are a few at any given time that will be broken. That usually only lasts a few patches until they sort out balancing. usually
Thanks for the advice I have been trying a few more of the champions in this rotation just to get a feel for the different roles and champions. I figure it just takes some getting used to.
Heimerdinger is always a pretty safe pick. He's quite strong and easy to pick up.
Only main thing with heimer is that 1) you have no real escape (he's safe because you bully most laners out) 2) it's all about setting up.
To play heimerdinger well, you need to know positioning.
Braum is always a good support, but he'll take some time getting used to. I find support and jungle to be the hardest of roles. Both roles require you to have very good ward knowledge, know when to go in, when to sacrifice yourself, when to buy certain items to aid in your team, when to roam...
I find mid to be the easiest of lanes to start, then top, then adc.
Mid you'll need to get used to constant ganks and how to deal with it. If you take tp top, you need to learn when to use it to get to other lanes, and if you're adc just know when to pressure, how to team fight, how to effectively deal damage from the back line.
you can't get a better more satisying burst than annie i'd say, i guess, but if you want someone else crazy bursty try diana or fizz
braum is fun but leona masterrace
i personally don't like heimer but he's damagey
what im saying is most players (The vast majority of players are below silver 2) dont pay enough attention or play enough of the game to know a lot of psych strats or plays seen at higher level play. last season i peaked at gold 2 and finished at gold 5, havnt really played since. But good guess on the bronze 5 thing.
Just because people aren't above Silver or Gold, Diamond, Plat. Doesn't mean they don't look at something and understand what happened. When I was climbing from B4 to S5 I watched a LOT of Dyrus, Sneaky, Anklespankin, and higher tier players just looking at how they react to plays and champion picks and just in general how they played the game. Picked up on a few things like warding the paths to jungle in mid to try and catch someone rotating early-mid. Or flash jukes. Low skill doesn't mean they don't know anything, just can't put it into practice.
Diana approaches the wall there and flashes. A flash teleports you a short distance, this includes through smaller walls.
Flash teleports you in the direction of where your cursor/mouse is, not in the direction of where your character is facing.
At low levels, people just flash in the direction of where their character is facing/ where they had been clicking to.
Once you get to higher levels, people will face a certain direction and the flash a completely different way.
When you enter a bush, you become invisible to your enemy unless they enter the same bush or have something that gives them vision there (ex: vision ward)
People have began to use flash to fake flashing over a wall and instead flash into a bush. Players that do not catch onto this sneaky play will continue over the wall or around to where they think their target is headed to.
This video shows a low level player trying to do a mid tier play. The Diana tries to go over the wall, but because the player is not so skilled, pauses to adjust their mouse.
This gives the Zed enough time to realize that they are adjusting and not actually flashing over the wall.
The concept is clever.
If you think the enemy team will get you regardless if you go over the wall, then the bush flash is a worthwhile gamble.
It just has to be done smoothly or it'll be too obvious like this Diana.
Watched this about 15 times, I'm convinced that Zed did not have vision of that bush. We're viewing as Zed's team (blue) and we can clearly see him put down a ward, why can't we see any wards in the bush they flashed to? There isn't one. We see a hesitation before he reacts to Diana being in the bush. My guess is lucky accident.
Or, I noticed somebody gained vision for half a second on the purple golem camp. It's possible it was Zed's team as they are on purple side. So, Zed's teammate gained vision of the golem camp the moment Diana "flashed" to it, Zed didn't see her there, only one other place she could be. But why flash?
I think he knew, by a mile. I think the hesitation was him getting his fingers on the mastery key. And you can tell that she was going to do it by the was she turned into the bush and then came out to show she was walking directly at the wall, she just placed really obvious bait haha.
We see flash jukes a lot in mid-diamond, you start to get a sense. People often delay just a little bit more, or make a show of flashing the wall. He probably knew what she was doing from the beginning, and just wanted to show off.
**kwanzalord used "*roll picture*"** **kwanzalord rolled image**At first I thought this was a good job on Zed's part...
then the second watch through, you can tell that Diana stands there momentarily to adjust her mouse position for the flash.
Not as impressive as I thought.
