Science is Amazing: An Ad.
Designed to Play League of
Legends Was Found Playing
Cave Story Instead.
Researchers at MIT were surprised when they discovered that an AI which
was designed to play League of Legends was instead found playing the
popular indie game, Cave Story- The AI, EDGE, was created
to test logic and learning in machines. "We wanted to create an AI that could
learn and strategize overtime taxed on its experiences-" spoke Dr. Richards,
head researcher at Ml, "We chose League of Legends as F' fagtron soaps
testing grounds as we wanted to see how an AI that was designed to learn
from its mistakes would go up against an expect human player."
However, the researchers plans were cut short when they found on Tuesday
morning that 2000 had uninstalled League of Legends and installed
Cave Story in its wake. "Atfirst we thought there may have Deen an error in
F' fagtron some code." spoke Dr. Richards, "Out we discovered that F' fagtron
2000 had indeed gone through a and error process and had
made its decision entirely logically."
Similar experiments were ran earlier this year with two Al' s designed to play
DOTA 2, which ended in the Al' s uninstalling DOTA 2 to play Bejeweled and
Castle Crashers respectively. Research into why this happens is still ongoing.

If you're going to play a game like Bejeweled, you might as well just go mobile and enjoy the freedom & touchscreen. I think sitting at a desktop and playing it would be worse. Also once you get the basics of a MOBA down, they're quite fun.

I like LoL, but Every and I mean EVERY ranked game i have at least one afk and one troll. Its unplayable when my team consists of 3 men.

1. Play with friends or make friends in game . Proceed to **** the meta / not play with Russians.
2. Ban OP champs in draft picks if you can't counter.
3. 128 released champs in League, almost all of which are viable picks.

i got banned for it
and when i tried to ban appeal on the forums a moderator said that "there's place and time for everything, ranked queue is a place to play seriously" so the reason for my ban was completely justified and i just had to accept it

Been there, done that. Never got banned. Never even got a warning, up to this day. You are really unlucky if you got matched with people who reported you for picking outside the meta, assuming you did well in every game. Also, I'd hardly consider a fanbase composed by a sizable chunk of whiny kids "the most cancerous". There's way worse.

FNAF, , for one. It's got the rabidness of the MOBA fanbase + a lot of creepy sexualized **** about mechanic animals. If you want another one there's the Sonic fanbase, to which the same things above apply.. The only thing the moba fanbases really have going for them in terms of ********** is attitude problems.

It still stands, Steven Universe has THE most toxic fandom/fanbase.
At least in LoL and Dota they never actually made someone try to kill themselves, sure the community is toxic as **** , heck, you look at the bad on anything and its all **** .
I'm pretty sure even the Disney fanbase has cunts in it.

You're obviously full of **** unless that happened in season 1. Trolling in of itself has never been even a reportable offense as long as I've been playing (since season 2).

It's possible to get banned nowadays if enough people report you for something, but when you appeal, if you actually get somebody to check up on it they would have unbanned you instantly unless you were somehow aggravating the situation.

Unless you know him personally there's no way you could ever know whether or not he was banned for being toxic or not. My friend for example, and I assume most people, only post videos where they're showing calm behavior, and if they start raging they won't post the video. And then when you get banned for it you could cause an uproar "look at what happened I got banned for no reason! My videos that I selectively posted are proof that I'm never toxic or break any rules!"

Its not even devs, one guy made all of cave story on his own. The music, the art, the programming, it was all Pixel. There was a team that worked on porting it, but the game itself was all made by the same man.

I once carried a game so hard i got 58 - 2 - 11, and won because I was so feed no one could touch me mid game.
That was on EU Nordic and east though so lots of **** players, I also played pre-nerf YI. So I was a god mid game.

positive attitude is only difference between silver and bronze and if you're in silver that puts you somewhere between the 50th and and like 88th percentile. I'm no plat V but I feel like the games more enjoyable when you take that into account. I think sometimes people see 5 leagues (technically six but **** dat challenjor noise) and feel like if they're in silver they're worse than average and it's half the reason the community is so toxic

AI's are not actually intelligent, though they can sometimes appear to be. They can do only what their programming specifically allows them to do, so an AI would only be able to choose what game to play if it was coded to make that choice, so unless this AI was designed to be a game choosing AI it would only play the game it was told to play

Yeah. The only people I know who play LoL i wouldn't call hard-core gamers. Their knowledge outside of LoL is generally lacking and they don't spend near enough time gaming. At one point I would have called my brother hardcore, but that point is long past, with the introduction of the xbox 360.

Cool. Reminds of that Computer program that was made to play games over and over, including Super Mario World, and through random actions, discovered glitches never found before by humans, some taking very precise timing. However, it then got to Tetris, and when it was about lose, it just paused the game, and just eerily sat there until the researchers interfered.

Well TECHNICALLY the computer in like 99% of games is not really an AI, it's a program that follows commands depending on variables, much like the robots the Mechanicus uses.
