What you said about Twilight Princess for Brawl... it was the same for Ocarina of Time in back in Melee... they even had "Young Link" (who has no master sword) contrast to "old Link"

Zelda's move-set was based on Din's Fire, Fororae's wind and Nyru's love (I have no Idea how to spell the latter names)

I think young link was actually based off of the majora's mask link as well, since he had flaming arrows instead of a sling shot.

the great bay map was majoras mask though. Also can anyone explain why hyrule castle floats in smash bro melee? I mean I know it was hovering over some lava at the end of OoT but not that much and that was when the castle was all evil looking because of ganon.

The "Hyrule: Temple" stage was based off Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, I believe. But that's just going by the music, as well as it receiving the "Great Temple/Temple" audio track in Brawl, and only Adventure of Link featured anything called a "great temple".
