Honestly.. and preparing for red thumbs here... But OoT is honestly one of my least favorite zelda games... it gets so much hype because it was the first 3d game of the franchise. But there are so many games that are so much better then it.

Yeah, I have heard some pretty good arguments against it. But I really don't like choosing which ones I like more when it comes to a series as close to my heart as LoZ.

LoZ is close to my heart too. The first ever video game i played was majora's mask. but OoT honestly is very low when it comes to zelda games.

My first was Wind Waker but it came with the Gamecube port of OoT as a bonus. It's a lot harder to appreciate a game like OoT when you started out by playing a game that has so much improvement on the older games in terms of graphics and control and also considering how big the world is in Wind Waker. It wasn't until quite recently that I was even aware of Majora's Mask but again, it is much easier to appreciate that OoT, even compared to Wind Waker.

My first Zelda game was Wind Waker also, and i can see where you're coming from. OoT was a good Zelda game, but honestly i prefer other zelda games like Skyward Sword, TP, Four swords for the gamecube and Minish cap.

OoT is a great game don't get me wrong.. But there are so many other zelda games better then it.

OoT is overrated, but i think it kind of deserves to be. it was such an unbelievably groundbreaking game, changed the world of 3d gaming, and it really was a great adventure.

but yeah, there are definitely better zelda games. my personal favorite is majora's mask, which is simply a brilliant game in so many respects. and then windwaker, which was my first zelda game, and still one of the best imo.

It's like Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VII, the only things they have supporting them are nostalgia.

Both are good. But it goes like this. OoT< TP < Skyward

I agree with you OoT is a great game and yes there are better, personally Twilight Princess is a bit closer to my heart because that's the first one I got to play on my own since I literally grew up watching my dad play OoT and WW. I have yet to play Skyward and I don't have a wii, is it really worth getting? Take into account I'm a HUGE LoZ fan.

Well a wii's about what? 50 dls? And skyward's like 30. But now that you have a wii you can play a lot of other games. So yea, it's worth it. Just make sure the controller has wii motion plus. I borrowed a friends wii and the SS and in thanks I made him this statue that's how good the game is.

Majora Mask Is Better than OoT in pretty much every aspect, but people forget about Majora because of the difficulty. I think Majora's Mask Is way better, but it's also way more difficult. Sometimes you have no idea what to do, especially with the sidequests

But thats what i liked about it. It always kept you aware because there were hints on what you needed to do but they were so subtle that even if you missed just one word you'd be completely lost. I like games that keep me hooked to where i have to pay attention to everything.

My favorite is Majora's Mask.

I agree. People who bash it typically say "it was too easy." Yeah, and OoT was SO much more difficult, right?
