What people are not realizing, is this has been happening on the dark continent since the beginning of time, well African time. If you think about it, the lifespan of the average African is less than any other group of people. Before vaccines, an African would be lucky to live past 40. Children have always been used for war purposes. Historically, trained at very young age to hunt and defend the tribes territory. Though the political reasoning has slightly changed, the basic thought of capturing young men/boys from other tribes is almost a tradition for the region of Africa. The wars in Darfur, Ethiopia, and Uganda have been going on since tribes were still the way of government system in specific countries. The tribal wars are being fought over what they have been fought over forever: resources. Greed is not just an "American" thing. Africa is just Africa, an uncivilized wasteland with limited resources, and constant hostile actions among different political parties.
