I didn't say that, I love Flowers for Algernon, absolutely love it, but I absolutely fucking hate it, because every time I think about it, I think of how my Grandfather died (Alzheimers go the better of him) and thinking about how that must feel, feeling what you know being ripped from you, and all I god damn have is my memory and my knowledge

I can relate with Charlie, I am a lot like how he is when he is learning about how to be an adult and learning how to be sociable, and then he meets Fay, a woman I could see myself having a relationship with and is filled with the Optimism that I so despritely need... only to be dragged violently back to what he was... And after all that, What wanting so bad to ascend once more, wanting so bad to know why he was like he was... just made me cry
