Absolutely not. The entire premise is that this is a ******* MERCENARY. You aren't going to find many mercs wearing a goddamn skirt.
A pair of shorts would have been better. Short, cropped hair and no ponytail First rule of combat is that you don't give the enemy something to grab onto Shorts and (maybe) a tank top

Assuming femscout is also from New York (scout has a bronx accent, right?) no one really wore shorts in New York except for a day to the beach, and tank tops were only for dock workers and undershirts. also you're getting a bit aggressive there, bro And sure, trousers would make more sense than a skirt. Also, probably just a button up blouse. As for the hair, I think ponytail makes the most sense. My entire argument is the time period thing, and you wouldn't see any girl with cropped hair in the 40's. I mean I guess basically I think it would make the most sense for her to be dressed like scout but with tits.

The point of the matter is that she's still not dressed like a mercenary, she's dressed like a schoolgirl who happened upon some weapons. Also sorry, I tend to come off as a bit hostile, nothing personal bud I'd accept the time period thing if she were in any way fit for combat.
The 'Scout but with tits' thing isn't too far from the truth. I mean if we're trying for a logical thing here, she'd dress herself up like a boy to get hired onto the mercenary company Time period So, short cut hair, tits bound down, and clothing suited for a battlefield
