Personally, I like Halo 4's multiplayer, but I don't think it's anywhere near Reach's. One, it doesn't have nearly as many maps as Reach. Two, where are all the game modes? Swat? Snipers? Grifball? In 4, there are about 10 game modes where in Reach there were roughly 23. Plus, in Reach, once you chose a playlist, there would different gamemodes in that one playlist. For example, if you chose Action sack on Reach there would be choices between Dino Blasters, Halo ball, Hockey, and others inside one of the 23 playlists. Halo 4 is good, but Reach was a lot better done in my opinion and had a lot more content. inb4 red thumbs
1. It has more maps than Reach, 10 in total, when Reach came out it had like 8. Not only that but if you count the forge environments you have 13 maps.
2. Game modes? They are there, not in Matchmaking yet, next week is the update for SWAT. BS Angel even said in the new bulletin yesterday that they will update Matchmaking weekly instead of Reach's monthly. The problem with Reach was there were too many gamemodes/playlists, thus separating the population making it appear less.
3. They might do that, there's a reason why they don't due to people who vote for a certain gametype, E.G. Elite Slayer, while others didn't want it. So, in order to fix it if you want to play -insert gametype here- then go into the playlist instead of hoping to get lucky in the playlist it should be in.

And those are typically horrible reviews. A review shouldn't be done until all aspects of the game are experimented with and finished. I saw a review on Borderlands 2 that said the game was complete rubbish and they didn't even give it the time to get to the point where the game slaps you in the face with its dick with the story.
Also, another problem with critics is that many times someone goes in biased. Like I've seen with AC 3, people are dissing Connor because from what I hear he's emotionless, especially when compared to Ezio. But need I remind you that Altair was as well? Altair was rather cold ESPECIALLY when compared to Ezio, all he cared about was doing his job.
Ezio is Italian, need I say more?, and what's more he's Old Italian, and the Italians are known for being very emotional and strong with them as well. Connor is Native American, which are very stoic, and what's more is in the middle of the Revolutionary War. Of course he's not going to be happy and charming as Ezio was.
My point and rant being... people review with too much bias or they don't give enough time for decent reviews.
