This girls name is Hanako and she got burned as a child and since that half of her body is burned and got scars and whatnot.
So the nickname bacon Tits was created, because her tits look like bacon all tasty and toasty and shit.

Katawa shoujo is a visual novel about a guy (hisao) who got some heart problems so he got send into a school full of crippled people, girls mostly.(katawa = crippled / shoujo = girl) (from japanese)
So what's a better plan to just try and get a relationship with one of them, right?

Bacontits is Hanako, like you said, a girl who's house got burned down at young age and her parents died trying to save her, leaving her with some big burns and a trauma, making her socially awkward.

Knowing the origin of Hanako I was aware of the burns and the novel itself, very fine piece of work. I however did not understand the nickname's origin, but I thank you for explaining it to me.
