That was my expectation for SPORE. EA let me down. It was still fun though.

Yeah, Spore is just a big pile of missed potential, in my opinion.

So some sort of model that adapts the map of one game and generates it into another . . . possible, but difficult. You're literally switching game engines.

for people who play Civ V: here`s my tactic for keeping my lands safe. Get your first 2-3 cities set up and build completely surrounding your borders (1 hex in, right on the edge) and in each one put infantry (or your era`s equivalent), backed by a line of tanks (or again your era`s equivalent), backed again by artillery. Your lands will be impenetrable.

Dwarf Fortress is kinda like that. You can build a fortress and then visit it in adventure mode after its been abandoned.

I want a sim city/Sim game, you create a city, choose a house and play as a sim in the city you just made, you could also go and fly/drive to other cities in the region.

i'm a story developer for games, i could try and get this made...
i see what you mean about the playout: you create a world and then play in it like a jacked-up-graphics version of sims 3, you basically play god incarnate...

the need a game where its like sims, gta, and cod combined. Sims in the aspect of your controlling a life you have to get him/her a job and keep them alive. GTA in the aspect that you can do whatever you want and go wherever you want(if you get life in prison your character is stuck there forever and you have to make a new one). And CoD in the aspect that its 1st person. i for one would play the **** out of that
