Camera filters.
Also add a bunch of sun glare and lens flares from EVERY FUCKING TINY LIGHT SOURCE! Then pretend you can destroy huge buildings, make an "in-engine trailer" showing them fall apart into tiny pieces, while it's just pre-rendered animations. Then make ZERO effort to make fluent controls on the PC, so you get jittery mouse movement.
BC2, BF3, and MOHWF in a nutshell.

executorchunk (12/06/2012) [-] Overwork developers is an understatement, at one time they had dev's working up to 100 hours per week with only a Saturday night off for "good behavior"... what a horrible and evil company for doing that to hard working employees that just want a job.
Also so many games they got their hands in, there's always a catch. Mass Effect was a great sandbox sci fi series till they dumbed it down and ruined the ending of the franchise. BF3 is probably one of the greatest shooters on the PC but you are pretty much forced to buy the $50 premium package or you don't get to enjoy online mode anymore. That's like paying for a game twice.
