The rob in the books and show are totally different. Show Rob married his wife because he was a horny teenager . Book Rob married his wife because she had sex with him to comfort the supposed death of his brothers, he then married her out honor.

This is false in the book he actually marries the daughter of some Westerman, who was a bannerman of Tywin and turned over to the Starks while they were fighting the Mountain just before this... so he did kinda need to in order to win the against the Mountain that Rides
