So after tonight's episode of Game of Thrones I left my friends house and was pulled over and asked me what I was up to. I told him I just left a friends house. He then told me that he pulled me over for speeding. I apologized and said I didn't notice because im still jittery from tonight's episode of GoT. He said not to say anything because he also watches it. I jokingly asked that if he let me go i wouldn't spoil the show for him. HE ******* LET ME OFF THE HOOK!!! I cant believe it!

I meant specifically how others in GOT feel about him. If the audience hates him for being an insufferable cunt, then in universe he is probably just as well received. And with how kill happy Game of Thrones is, It should come as no surprise that Joffrey was gonna get himself murdered at some point.

The plot line is very interesting and the depth of every single character is absolutely phenomenal. That being said I find his style of writing to be very dry, almost interfering. I get annoyed reading it frequently because I want to know what happens next, not what exact shade of brown Plotdevice McGonnadiesoon's boots are, but I know full well skipping even a few lines could mean I miss something that will be of paramount importance later on. But that's just my opinion...

A few weeks ago The Good Wife killed off one of its main characters and it was shocking because they had never done that and it's not the kind of show where you expect that.

I don't get why people are still surprised when Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead pull this off, I mean, from what I hear they do that at least 2 or 3 times a season....

2 or 3? That's cute. No, it's shocking because it either comes at a moment where you don't expect it, or it has a lot of buildup. Also, more often than not, it's a character you really like who dies.

This one was shocking because there really wasn't any buildup. It was episode 2 of a season, not the last or a later one where **** was about to go down.

Everything going along fine as dandy, no hint of foreshadowing, and then he dies. No massive justice of a hero doing it, no snappy one liner, no gratuitous violence. The character we have all learned to love to hate is suddenly no more
