I have a theory though you might be interested in, if you're like me and haven't found the time to read the books yet.

I think that Melisandre is just using Stannis as a means to an end, and that he isn't he reincarnated hero, Azor Ahai. I think that it may actually be Jon Snow, did you see the way the priestess was staring at Jon Snow?

Also, how pissed is Stannis going to be when he realizes that he wasn't there to take advantage of Tywin's death?

yeah I thought the something along those lines while watching it.. I just wanted to be funny and say that.

But I think Melisandre was seeing that Jon wasn't really Ned Starks son but actually the son of Rhaeghar and Lyanna Stark making Jon half Targaryen and half Stark.. Throughout the whole show and book Ned never called Jon his son but he always stated "You have Stark blood in you".. I might be wrong though, but we know that something big is going to go down with Melisandre and Jon.

Man I got no idea, I just wanted to know who Azor Ahai was so I googled him and something popped up about Melisandre trying to have a vision about him but seeing only Snow.
I kinda think Stannis came to the wall to take the wildling army, I mean there is 100k of them, plus they got giants he could get Kings Landing with that army with no problem, and then defend it, the way I see it if the wildlings want to get south of the Wall because winter is coming and all that ****, Stannis could recruit them.

I'm no writer, but killing Jon Snow after opening so many storylines about him, seems like bad writing and a bad end to the whole Wall situation, and George Martin ain't a bad writer. Also, I got no idea who you're talking about.

As George R R Martin has said "No character is safe, and I want my fans to know that", and if Jon was to die it would serve as a purpose because every death in this show was justified for other characters development.

Yeah, but we all knew Tyrion wasn't about to die, it would make no sense, and I think killing Jon Snow wouldn't make any sense, killing Robb Stark, even if I hated that made sense, he ****** over that old guy whose name I can't remember, and he took revenge, everyone hated Joffrey so that makes sense, made sense for Tyrion to kill Tywin as well, you get what I'm saying.

Beric was revived by Thoros at least once before the Dragons were reborn, when he was thoroughly dicked by Gregor Cleganes lance. And it's said in the shadow lands of Asshai that people could still do the creepy ******* ghost birth thing.

The Old Gods still don't seem to show any power, and I believe it's stated somewhere, that they intentionally do this, they just don't care, they let **** take it's course and very, very rarely do anything if they can at all.

Beric was revived right towards the end of the 1st book which is when the dragons hatch. The timeline in the books is hard to follow so I cannot remember which happened before the other. Asshai which borders the shadow lands is an enigma that is never really touched on. Crazy stories are always flowing from there.

They are more just keepers of balance. They handle things in subtle ways that take more power and knowledge then magicians lighting swords on fire.

the power of skinwalking, granting greensight to people like jojen to become essential prophets, said the shamans of the old gods could hear them through the whispers of the wind. If you've read all of the books you know they can see into the past and future anywhere there are weirwoods

Oh boy it's book spoiler time.

Yes, but then, they can't do a huge amount looking through the trees. You can argue they could change the future if they get there before it happens, but greenseers are obviously, incredibly uncommon, and can only see where there are weirwoods. (Though I think Mr Spooky Tree Dude said he can see through all trees with enough practice.) And the whole wind thing is iffy, like it could just be crazy ****. Though I think Theon thought he heard Bran when he was doing whatever in the Godswood at some point.

Skinwalking or Wargs, whatever the ****, is some sort of power and connected to Old God stuff, but I would argue that reviving the dead multiple times is more impressive. Plus, priests of R'hllor can see into the future as well, it's just abstract ****. And Moqorro did that hand thing, fixed Victarion right the **** up. And the whole "Completely changing someones appearance." thing that Melisandre did. And god knows what the **** else they can do.

I agree with all of that but my argument is that the old god's powers dwindled because of people killing off the children of the forest and cutting down the weirwoods. Where as it appears to me that the red god's followers powers come from magic being brought back into the world

The chapter where it mentions he fought at the Mummers Ford and got dicked by a lance was right after the chapter where Dany leaves Vaes Dothrak with Drogo, meaning that the battle took place even before that chapter. I really doubt it took place after the dragon thing.

So I'm confused as to what happened. Maybe its because I missed the opening sequence of flashbacks before the intro. How did Stannis know Wildlings were attacking, where did his army come from (last time I thought we saw him he had just gotten a loan), and how did a game of thrones episode have a happy ******* ending?!

Also, I don't get why Aria wasn't allowed through the bloody gates. Sure her aunt was dead, but she was still family to her cousin. And I kinda missed it, when the fat guy came back for his girl, did she bludgeon the deserter to death or was he just cowering in that corner?

He didn't know Wildlings were attacking, but he was going beyond the wall to fight the White Walkers. Just so happened Wildling cunts were there too. They probably came by sailing around the wall, probably near Eastwatch-By-The-Sea, one of the few manned castles on the Wall.

Arya and Sandy probably just didn't go through and buggered off instead. Janos Slynt, the deserter guy you mentioned, was indeed alive.

Stannis is a ******* cunt
Seriously, he burns people for practically nothing to please his God
He's alienating his followers who believe in the 7 by burning his Sept
He ********* about how the throne is 'rightfully his'. but conveniently forgets the Targaryens
And hes to ******* stubborn.
To quote Donnal Noye 'Stannis is pure iron, brittle. He'll break before he bends'
And he acts like a complete and utter dick in the North

He is a hard ass, and alienates followers, because he believes he is an ancient warrior reborn, and has been told he is. He is the rightful heir to the throne, there are no Targaryens left in Westeros, the supposed last is doing butt **** nothing in Meereen. Though, book wise, a Targaryen (?) comes back. Robert and Stannis fought and suffered for that ******* throne to take a psycho bitch off it. They have ******* earned that god damn throne.

You try not being a dick when what should be yours is held by a bastard of incest, when the deaths of thousands who fought for you weighs heavy on your shoulders, when you may be the hope to save the entire ******* world from an Ice Apocalypse.

A King whos alienates followers and tries to burn the religion of his country to the ground because of some prophecy? Yeh that ain't a very clever thing to do
By the logic that Stannis is the rightful King because he and Robert fought off the Targaryens, well then Tommen is now the rightful King because he has fought off Robb and Stannis.
The Targaryens earned that throne. Aegon made the 7 Kingdoms out of the blood, fire and chaos of Westeros, and kept it ******* peaceful. Robert's rebellion and the War of the 5 Kings have been the bloodeiest wars of Westeros, and all ebcause all of the Baratheon brothers are incompetent ********.

I dislike him, believe his cause is ********, but holy **** do I respect him.

Aegon earned it. The Mad King lost it, because he went ******* ******* crazy and was going to destroy Kings Landing. Tommen didn't right off Robb or Stannis, not even Joffrey did, Joffrey ran off in the fighting. Robert fought in the battles, Robert ******* wrecked the supposed best warrior in the Seven Kingdoms. Robert fought, Stannis fought, Joffrey and Tommen are children, neither played any big role in their defeats. Tyrion beat Stannis, Walder Frey beat Robb. Robert fought tooth and ******* nail. Stannis held the absolute **** out of Storms End, then later beat VICTARION ******* GREYJOY during Balons rebellion.

Aegon also kept it peaceful for the rest of his life, but it barely remained peaceful. The Dance of Dragons and the Blackfyre Rebellion took a pretty big toll on that ****. That said, if a theory about a certain character in the book comes true, I will not support Stannis at all.

Yes the Baretheon brothers are masters of War, which is why I respect them. But if Aegon lost it, then unfortunately so did Robert. Robert ****** up. He lost the thrones barely 20 years after he won it. Robert shouldn't have been King. Ned should've taken it.

The blackfyre and dance of dragons were bad, but the War of the 5 kings and roberts rebellion are definitely worse

My favorite theory is that bran will come back down and be King of the north. I'd like that.

What if Aegon 6 is a blackfyre

Well, Robert didn't really "lose" it, it just so happens his sons were not his sons and Joffrey was ****. (Tommen is A-OK.) Ned shouldn't have been king though, he would have done justice and ****, but he would have been assassinated quick by nobles, because he'd say "**** YE" and actually be good at his job. Every king after Aegon held it, but it was only when one was particularly ******* crazy, it was truly lost to them. Robert lost it not through war or conquest, but because his sons were not his own. This makes Stannis the rightful king. Would he make a good king? Maybe not. Ned said the same thing. But it is his by right of conquest for the Baratheons.

I don't think Bran will become king though. BUT. Aegon 6 being a Blackfyre is the theory I mentioned. If he is a Blackfyre I will hail that bitch all up and down the continent, as hypocritical as it is, But damn it, I love the god damn Blackfyres.

Well if Stannis owns it through right of conquest then hes about to lose it

No **** the blackfyres. Both Deamon blackfyre and Maelys the Monstrous were ambitious cunts. We dont want them.

Well yeah he is north.

Now. Listen here you nancy pants cow tit. Daemon ************* Blackfyre should have been king. A strong and smart ************, given the sword wielded by all Targaryen kings, honourable, kind to his friends, and to his enemies, with Targaryen parentage on both sides. Daemon could lead, Daemon would protect the kingdom. Over Daeron II, who just dicked around with learning stuff, never giving half a damn for the kingdom. At the Redgrass field, Daemon fought like the ******* Warrior himself, while Daeron piss farted around in Kings Landing. Daemon fought a long battle with someone, and then tried to lead them to safety, for giving him such a fight. Daemon died protecting his enemy out of admiration. You tell me thats not a king, a king who will fight for his kingdom, and show mercy to those his enemies. Daemon was also older than the actual king, and since he was legitimized, that should have made Daemon the king.

He was the greatest of the Blackfyres, the truest of them all. Maelys was a ****** up mutant, barely worthy of the name Blackfyre.

Daemon was the only good Blackfyre.
He was killed after escorting Corbray off the field. Brynden 'The ************ Bloodraven' Rivers, baddest ****** in Wetseros, killed him after that. And his 2 sons.
Daemon was polite, but like **** he was good. He dumped the 7 Kingdoms into a brutal civil war because he wanted the throne.

Don't you talk **** about ma homie Daeron. He was called the good for a reason. Just because he was a warrior, doesn't mean hes a bad king. Robert was a warrior, and he was a **** king. Daemon was a warrior, but only a warrior. Daeron was learnt, which is a refreshing change in kings, and he bought peace and prosperity to the 7 kingdoms after Blackfyres tried to **** **** up. And look at his sons. Baelor Breakspear and ************* Maekar.

Oh and who brought Dorne into the 7 Kingdoms?

Daemon knew his ******* **** son. He put the kingdom into civil war for his right.
Daeron was smart, but he couldn't lead. It was easy to take advantage of things, because he wouldn't do a ******* thing about it. He brought Dorne into the 7 kingdoms, yeah. But at the cost of the civil war, marrying off whats her face is the straw that broke the camels back for Daemon.

BUT NO WE HAVE THE DESERT **** HOLE.

No, Daeron could lead. Daemon could only lead in war. Daeron was a King for peace. Getting Dorne didn't start the rebellion, Daemon getting bitchy did

The desert ******** that fought off every Targaryen invasion, and the only kingdom currently loyal to their true dragonlord kings

But then, Daeron was not a fighter, and couldn't lead for ****. If it wasn't for Bloodraven, they'd have been ******. Daemon led an army, but I will be damned if he couldn't lead the kingdom. His generosity and merciful nature would have kept the people on his side, but his power as a military ruler would have kept rebellions and filthy bandit ***** in check. Because where Daeron would ignore it, or do little, Daemon would fix it himself. He would go the **** out there and give those who threaten his people the business. A king needs to be strong, man. It's the same thing people always say with Renly. "He was gentle and kind, he would be a perfect king! No one WOULD rebel!"

A king needs to be able to fight. If Daeron knew how to kick ass, a rebellion would never happen, because they would fear his prowess in battle, and as a military commander. If Daemon was the king, no one would have rebelled again, because they'd be ******* with the wrong dude.

But Daeron achieved through marriage what a century of bloodshed could not.
I believe that a King can be a King without being able to fight. There are more important characteristics to have in a monarch. Which is why the Baratheon brothers were all awful kings.
Now lets stop arguing about this. It is a book, after all
