They don't really have to "make you" the dislikable boogieman if you burn your own daughter alive to power magic. That takes care of itself.

Really, he was actually a pretty good dude up until this last episode. Regardless, he's an awesome character. So much going on with him.

At cost of being seeing as a mad lunatic infront of your soldiers ? and burning your blood. Producers don't like stannis, so i don't know what i expected anyways

A lot of his soldiers, aside from the mercenaries, are devotees of the Lord of Light. they stopped the queen from attempting to prevent the sacrifice without even being ordered to do so.

The Producers don't like Stannis? Really? Then, why have they made him so sympathetic and awesome in this season and the last? Writers don't flesh out characters they hate. Tone down the butthurt and look at this rationally. Melisandre can literally perform some kind of ********* miracles. If your choices are to have hundreds of people die and the world end because you don't achieve your destiny, or sacrifice your daughter to have a chance at saving the world from calamity, it's not really much of a choice. Remember, Stannis has seen a prophetic vision of where he needs to be and what he's supposed to ultimately do, and whatever it is he knows he needs to get there by any means necessary. This squarely fits into that scheme.

First of all most of his soldiers and mercs... so not so many devoted fanatics.
Second, he probably ordered them before to stop them.

I did mention the mercenaries thing. Doesn't really refute any of my other points, anyway.

Only found this one, where he says that stannis would be a terrible king. there was a whole thread on 4chan like two years ago so i can't say more since i dn't remember much. (if would suggest looking up on the internet).

Said he would make a terrible king, which is arguable. That doesn't even remotely imply a bias against the character.

They hate Stannis because they make comments about the character that are factually wrong, and then change the character in the show to represent how they see him.
