A lot of it was good, but it's a shame they had to compress Stannis' plot when so much more goes on in the books I have a lot of questions/concerns about it, and I think it's one of those things that's just always going to be better in the books due to not having the same time limitations
That said, I will say one thing in the season was flat out bad bad pousseyy while they had an ok-but-not-great idea for how to knock out the plot in one season, it had horrible execution most of the way through in my honest opinion
the sansa storyline didn't make to much sense in my opinion and the dorne storyline was pretty lame except for myrcellas death , the wall storyline was pretty cool, though!
Yeah they killed Jon Snow when they were the ones who let the wildlings in themselves. Yeah that makes ******* sense. Also he Jon brought them from the retarded side of the wall just for the purpose of drama.
it did make more sense, the way they did it in the books, no doubt. and you're right with your second point too, but i really liked the hardhome episode, it was the best of season 5 imo.
Wait... Wasn't the greyjoy plotline resolved out of screen? Remember that they just mentioned that the big head had fallen from some place and died and that was that.
no i really don't remember, when was that? as far as i know, balon still lives. but what i'm refering to here is the whole victarion and euron greyjoy storyline!
I'm more excited for Victarion Greyjoy because I just love how badass he is, I hope they don't **** up his character or at least he makes it to the show, I heard some rumors he wasn't going to be on the TV show
I agree a bit. Nothing really happened. WW came out for 15min. Jorah got to know of his father's fate. Bronn got some sword action. Jon and Stannis were stumped. Not to mention the burning of his daughter which was really for nothing. Sansa escaped the prison she was sent to. Barristan died. All the things I remember from this season. Oh right, the Mountain's back which was really hinted at from 4.9 meaning that Oberyn also died for nothing. Well in some way. I doubt the Mountain got to keep his mind.
Too bad about Jon. He was the show's most interesting lead at this point. Tyrion will just be playing between Varus and Daenerys now so..
Sand Snakes were god awful, the Sansa rape was unnecessary, and they completely butchered Stannis' character. One of the few changes I liked was Hardhome. Also no Griff or Young Griff and no Strong Belwas at all makes me sad, though not enough to dislike the season.
